Eugene Turner, treasurer of the Congregational Church, where this year’s Union Thanksgiving ser vice was held has received a letter of thanks from the Church World Service director in appreciation of thp offering of $103.37 which the service gave this year. In addition to widespread emergency condi tions, Church World Service, is helping with a new Anti-T.B. pro gram in Korea, in the erection of homes and development of small scale industries for refugees in. Honkong, and meeting the desper ate conditions of the Arab ref ugees by supplying food, clothing, and welfare service to children. Mr. Turner was pleased to see that the letter of thanks from the Church World Service was signed iby a former China missionary friend.—Contributed. Mr. and Mirs. Vance A.
